My oldest daughter happened to be turning 7 this last week as well, so we figured this might be something that she could enjoy doing as part of her birthday festivities. None of us had ever been to anything like this before, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. My daughter does have a lot of experience with Legos, and I worried that the things there may be too advanced for her (and my 2-year-old too for that matter). Lego KidsFest Turns out, we didn’t have anything to worry about at all! That was apparent from the moment we stepped foot out of our car and joined the large crowds of parents transporting children of all ages into the event. I figured things would be a little hectic when we got inside, but that wasn’t the case. There were so many workers standing on duty ready to help we were greated and welcomed several times over. Lego KidsFest Once we got inside, the kids were immediatlely in awe. There were stations set up everywhere with things to occupy children of all ages and interest. I saw some kids working on cars and creating these incredible lego creations. My kids were more amused with jumping in the huge pile of legos, and admiring the awesome charachters and scenes that were scattered throughout the event. Despite the fact that there were so many people there, the event was well organized and the layout was perfectly designed in a way that didn’t leave it congested. We had no trouble navigating our three children (one of which was in a stroller) throughout the event. If you plan on going to a Lego KidsFest event, however, I would definetly suggest getting there as early as possible. We didn’t have quite enough time to see and experience all of it before it was time to go, and we were there for over two hours! You’ll definetly want to experience the entire session.
